| Another FANTASTIC weekend in Chicago............didn't want to come back to Cedarville. Thursday...drove up with Justin and we all hung out with Dan and his roomies.
Friday, ballroom dinner and dancing at the Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago for Dan's Homecoming. Terrific.
Saturday, sweet bonfire in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin.

Went to Chicago for the weekend, and had a splendid time hanging out at Dan's resort. So, the wedding is currently 248 days away, and it's really not even on my mind- thankfully, or I'd probably be worried about.
So I was sitting in my room tonight, and had a particularly emotional moment looking at my friends and the world that we've created here. In one year, where will we be? Who will I even see? So much time invested in relationships, I just wish I could ensure that they will last, but I guess part of growing up is realizing that many times, they just can't. Too many distances, distractions, just life. I'm holding onto my handful of closest friends tightly before life hits. |
